Reeha Lim
Raised Korean in China, and currently based in the U.S., Reeha Lim (b. 1994) explores the inherent ambiguities in what is often taken for granted as an out-focusing on possibilities, an independence from one’s common sense, and as facing the heavy, bare face of another within the realm of painting. Reeha’s artistic journey began with a duo exhibition in Shenyang, China, at the age of nine. Since then, her works have been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including venues such as Chilli Art Projects in London, Gallery 100_0 and Gallery Euljiro OF, and Haeng-hwa-tang Art Space in Seoul. Reeha has been selected for artist residencies at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2017, and has been chosen to be featured in the New American Paintings Midwest Issue. She earned her BFA from Hong-ik University in South Korea in 2021 and was subsequently awarded the Fulbright scholarship, completing her MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2024.
