Rooted Youth with Farmer D

Saturday, November 18, 11:00AM-12:00PM
Armory Garden, 290 Goffe Street, New Haven, CT 06511

Inspired by Saya Woolfalk’s exhibition, “Rooted Youth” is an immersive experience for young individuals seeking to strengthen their bond with nature and themselves amidst the digital age and urbanization. Through guided mindfulness, meditation, and discussions in natural settings, participants will learn presence, grounding techniques, and the importance of plants and ecosystems. This program is led by NXTHVN Student Programs Manager, Jay Kemp, and Farmer D. Participants will meet at the Armory Garden. This is a youth-centered program. Participants must be accompanied by an adult.
