We are pleased to present our fourth annual Black History Month spoken word event, Black
History NXT Future: “Spoken Word Magic”, hosted by NXTHVN Apprentices: Allana Herbert, Luca Rivera, Nia Jackson, Basmina Noorbadshah, Shaista Noorbadshah, Isaiah Hampton, Andre Ennis, Cupid Garcia, and featuring the debut reading of the powerful podcast series “Haus of Black” – a bold exploration of untold stories, resilience, and innovation. This open mic celebration showcases how Black poets have used the written and spoken word to assert the beauty and complexity of our culture and makes way for new voices and new realities.
