Musoke Nalwoga
Musoke Nalwoga (1994) was born and raised in Uganda. She is currently working as a curator and researcher with a focus on contemporary art. Musoke holds an MFA from the Sandberg Institute. Musoke is the founding director of Motormond Amsterdam, a new art gallery that aims to give a much-needed update to the idea of the ‘white cube’. Musoke’s curatorial practice is reparative. It is a curatorial practice that is interested in building institutions, to hack, subvert, and productively add to the various ways that the specific art (his)stories of B.I.P.O.C. communities are staged, exchanged and archived. She has contributed to the curatorial programs of Kunstverein Braunschweig, Sonsbeeck 20-24, The Cobra Museum of Modern Art, and Framer Framed.
