Sandra Gibson

Sandra Gibson holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and a master’s in art education. She spent 20+ years of her career as an administrative professional at Yale University working in various departments. Sandra is pleased to have the opportunity to share her years of organizational and communication expertise in support of NXTHVN’s vision to grow a creative arts community in the Dixwell neighborhood and beyond. A long-time resident of New Haven, Sandra is active in her hometown by also contributing to the arts and her community through volunteer service. She serves and has served as a volunteer at local organizations including Long Wharf Theater, Shubert Theater, Yale University Art Gallery, the International Festival of Arts and Ideas and Yale-New Haven Hospital. She and her husband, Robert, live in New Haven.
