Ana Tuazon
Ana Tuazon is a writer, curator, and 2019–20 resident at the Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She completed an MA in Art History and Criticism at Stony Brook University in 2018, where her research centered on the practices of women of color within and outside of feminist art traditions. In addition to co-curating NXTHVN’s inaugural exhibition opening in 2020, her other curatorial work includes the 2018 Southeast Queens Biennial, co-curated through art nonprofit No Longer Empty’s curatorial lab. She has presented at conferences including the College Art Association and Theorizing the Web, and she has written for publications such as Temporary Art Review, Hyperallergic, and Art Practical.
